My Semester at Bennington College! (Fall 2026)
As a segue from community college, I spent the first term of my junior year at Bennington College, taking advantage of the unique opportunities for political leadership in Vermont (as the Bennington College Campus Coordinator for Amanda Janoo's gubernatorial campaign) and Bennington's topic-based curriculum to approach the question of women in systems of power from various angles.
While at Bennington, I also made a new Field Work Term (Bennington College-specific internship) network with more competitive, corporate internships for first-generation and international students to eliminate career barriers associated with lack of industry connections. My Plan advisor was Dr. Stephen Shapiro. Afterwards I return to Rutgers New Brunswick to finish my B.A. in Political Science at Douglass Women's College.
